[LD22announce] LD 22 Quarterly Meeting

The next quarterly meeting for LD 22 is scheduled Monday, January 23, beginning at 6 pm in room 152, Building 1 at the Thurston County Courthouse, and will conclude by 6:30 pm to commence the forum for the candidates running for State Party Chair referred to in my previous email.
In accordance with the "2006 Washington State Delegate Selection and Affirmative Action Plan" the primary item of business at the LD 22 meeting will be the election of one member for each of the following three State Convention Committees:
• Credentials (this committee certifies delegates from counties and legislative districts and recommends settlement of any disputes in that regard)
• Platform (this committee is responsible for drafting the proposed State platform)
• Rules (this committee is responsible for drafting the proposed rules and agenda for the State convention)
You do not need to be a PCO to be elected to one of these three positions but do need to attend the State Convention June 3 in Yakima as well as any preliminary committee meetings.
Alan Corwin will also ask LD 22 to consider the attached resolution.
