Hello all,

 

John has asked us to prepare an article quarterly for the TCD newsletter.  I
would like to know if you all would be interested in rotating the writing of
this article amongst us.  I will do them all if I have to, though I hate to
write.  Let me know if you have any interest in this and we can make a plan.
I will start working on an article for the Jan.  edition introducing us and
our plans to expand LD22's contribution to the community.

We'd like to extend the opportunity to each of the four legislative
districts within Thurston County to publish a column in our quarterly,
tabloid format, large distribution (about 7,000 copies) newsletter.  I see
this as an opportunity to help each of you develop a stronger LD
organization, in turn benefiting us all.  You're free to determine the
content as you see fit.

Our newsletter editor, Christi McGinley, will be contacting you soon to give
you the particulars, e.g., column length, deadline, etc.  I'd also like to
include a small photo of each of you and we would need to receive a digital
image.

We would also appreciate any efforts you could make soliciting paid
advertisements for these quarterly newsletters.  Each run costs us a couple
thousand dollars and the ads help defray the printing and distribution
costs.   I'll ask Christi to include information on the ad pricing and who
to contact for assistance with design or layout questions.

Thanks for all you're doing to deepen and broaden the strength of our party
organizations!
