All of this analysis and chatter about Clinton v. Obama
as the strongest candidare to defeat McCain is purely
academic. Obama will win a minimun of eleven pledged
delegates in Montana and South Dakota today. Sixteen
super delegates have announced they will endorse Obama
after the polls close, including Jimmy Peanuts who may be
the kiss of death. More super delegates will follow. The
fat lady isn't just about to sing. She's ready for the second
act. Woe to those pundits who said the nomination would
go to the Convention.
The scene shifts now. If Kennedy recovers enough to campaign
for Obama, he'll be a sympathic figure hard for anyone to take
down. I hope Bill Clinton goes home to Arkansas and works
to win that state for Obama. Where is Al Gore?
Signed, Nisqually Nordmann, semi-retiring
                  community activist at large
