Nothing much new here. The keys to winning
the electoral college vote are Indiana, Michigan,
Missouri, Ohio and Virginia. See attached map.
However, it's much too early to give polls much
weight. The McCain/Obama presidential campaigns
are just getting started. Also, it's to be expected
that the presumptive gets a "bum" when he/she
clinches the nomination. They take on a new
aura with increased stature.
I like one of the governors from either Indiana,
Kansas (a woman who might be able to help
bring some of Clinton's base back into the
fold), Ohio and former Virginia Governor
Mark Warner. But if Warner is offered and
accepts the VP nomination, who will run
for Virginia's open seat?
